ADC: START WITH RESONANCE AND NOT WITH REPETITION 2
“Take a great person in any situation, they will create abundance and it will be a life changing moment for everyone along with people around them.” (Babatunde 2025)
So, who are great person? By my own understanding, they are
the Leaders, all kind of Leaders you can think of; Politically, Socially,
Institutionally, Religiously and Ethnically.
From the above quotes, which of our past and present leader (Democratically Elected Ones) has been great in solving our peculiar problem. I haven’t seen one or rather,
by my judgement, they will solve like 10% easy problems and create multiple and
bigger remaining 90% of another set of problems. It is unfortunate to note
that, these Leaders won’t be a victim of such challenges, but
the masses of this country. Irony of it was like, they share National Award
like sachet water when it was selling for Ten Naira.
Now, let us go political, that’s the essence of this article.
I may not want to go into details of PDP (People’s Democratic Party) 16years
rule, we all aware of the experience,
the emergence of Boko Hara* and we know what their plan was like then, the ambition
to rule Nigeria for 50 years. That took us to our main question, of why
the ruling for 50 years, on whose benefit, the party members or the Nation call Nigeria?
Fast Forward; obviously, there are other Political Parties but as
unnerving as PDP as accumulated enough power in Nigeria, none among the
existing political parties then can
singularly oust out PDP. It calls for Political Intelligence to think of
Merger of Parties. The merger story is good to tell, here comes the most popular South
West Party which metamorphosize from AD
(Alliance for Democracy) to ACN ( Action Congress of Nigeria). The Northern
Party but has some South West sympathy CPC (Congress for Political Change),
from South-South and South-East comes APGA (All Progressive Grand Alliance).
All of these aforementioned Political parties and more forms a merger that gave
birth to APC (All Progressive Congress) in February 6th, 2013. This
2013 baby party truncated 50 years ambition of ruling Nigeria by PDP. In 2015,
President Muhammadu Buhari becomes the
Nigeria Number 1 citizen under APC. This in turn transition to (Emi Lokan
Slogan) President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Now after two years we know where we found
ourselves as an individual and as a country.
I am not here to complain, but I am here to reflect because
another Coalition is booming, not as political party merger but as big wigs in
Nigeria Political space in which African Democratic Congress (ADC) was chosen
to housed them all. Hmmmmm, to me it looks good because ADC is nothing Northerner nor South Westerner party in its structure. Therefore, for the Unity of the country I was amused. The founder Ralph Nwosu was the
Chairman as at 2022 and at the moment ADC have two National Assembly members.
If the Northern Nigeria Big Wig can adopt ADC as their political party, then it
can’t be more Critical and Conscious
than that.
What is constructive about this article is there’s coalition
now, what is the reason of the coalition both individually and collectively?
Because both emotion and reason within both entities has to be balance and in syncs before
any repeating cycle can be avoided. What do I mean? APC tabled many reasons to
Nigerians for their acceptance, 10 years down the line, it is quiet understood
that, the merger was not for the masses, nothing close to Nigerians welfare but
solely party and friends affair. Please can you have some reflection here, ADC members?.
Like our reasons and emotions balanced before we can take any concrete decisions in our life to be positively impacted, Leaders should understand that there is need for Political reason and Philosophical reason to have a great decision(s) to consciously make for the benefit of people for whatever position they found themselves and then Leaders have to imbibe good Ethics.
Let me reiterate here that I am not comporting those in coalition
that they are saints or blameless Leaders in country. I agree there are contouring
in character and much more in the environment we strive but all I am trying to project is
that they can be great person a great Leader in which when put in any situation they turn it
around and make the best of it for the hard working, loyal and patriot citizens of this country at least as their reward, in abundant.
There’s going to be a huge conflict when as Leader, applying Political Reasoning to Governance that needed Philosophical Reasoning.
Recent disconnection between the Government and the Nigeria Populace is stemmed
from this simple rule. Philosophical approach is needed in Governance and while
Political Approach is needed Political party Affair. I can be bet, PBAT is 100%
Political in all his approach to National interest with 0% Philosophical
Approach. True to God, he is seeing the result, at least almost all Politian are now decamping to APC as if all National cake is made for Politician alone and
Nigeria Populace are treated wretched.

So, ADC, we hear you are coming, search your individual
mind, group intentions and your mission to Nigeria populace. Start with
Resonance, by this I mean, start with big plan, with understanding of what you
wanted to embarked upon, how Nigeria problem can be solved, mitigated and
approached. With resonance, individual interest is all at the back burner,
National interest comes first. Yes, if you can’t make sacrifice for what your group mission is, then your
mission became sacrifice (think of sacrifice of losing to PBAT in 2023). Strength from starting from Resonance, can
lay out the foundation of cleaning of the environment where Leaders emerges,
the Political party ( this answer what our environment is).
I can assure you, starting with Resonance will magnetized acceptance with Nigeria Populace and that unity we all crave for in Nigeria can still be solid as rock. While, you don’t have to scramble (like what APC is doing at the moment) for members to join, because that will flow Naturally. In resonance, all members frequencies must be allied and that will create a red flag for any potential mole in the coalition.
I trust Nigerians if they want to make the changes no amount *igging can stop us. We have done it before and we can still redo it.
The coalition can let the Resonance attitude determine their
direction, timing and allocation of position, agreements, magnetizing populace
and overall mission to be accomplished. Otherwise, the coalition will land in
repetition of previous cycle and that’s not so good for the country at large.
