WHO IS SPEAKING FOR NIGERIA IN THE WORLD?

Image
Please where are our ambassadors, who is speaking for us, who are those that are relaying information about us in a diplomatic manner to the world and is the space for lobbying Nigeria interest at the globe, now empty? Anyone can add as many questions as possible to the countless number of questions that are begging for answers… For now, No one! Chronologically for the current Nigeria Government, I consider the first Six month without Ambassadorial Appointment as “General Cleaning”.   For the next six month, which is a year of Administration, it may be “Coincidence”, but after 2years, without any doubt, it is a “Choice of Unserious Government”, a government that lost focuses and mute the Nigerian voice in a Global scale. It is not uncommon for new administration to recall both Political and Career representative of a country in the different States of the world but considering the position and as indispensable  as Ambassadoria...

ADC: START WITH RESONANCE AND NOT WITH REPETITION 2

Image
“Take a great person in any situation, they will create abundance and it will be a life changing moment for everyone along with people around them.”   (Babatunde 2025) So, who are great person? By my own understanding, they are the Leaders, all kind of Leaders you can think of; Politically, Socially, Institutionally, Religiously and Ethnically. From the above quotes, which of our past and present leader (Democratically Elected Ones) has been great in solving our peculiar problem. I haven’t seen one or rather, by my judgement, they will solve like 10% easy problems and create multiple and bigger remaining 90% of another set of problems. It is unfortunate to note that, these Leaders won’t be a victim of such challenges, but the masses of this country. Irony of it was like, they share National Award like sachet water when it was selling for Ten Naira. Now, let us go pol...

ADC: START WITH "RESONANCE" AND NOT WITH "REPETITION" 1

“If you take a good person and put them in a bad environment, it is naturally incumbent on the person to do a bad thing. In the reverse sense, when a bad person is being put in a good environment, I am sure they will become better.”  (Babatunde 2025) Now I want us to take note of our environment, yes, literarily, what is our environment like, where do our Leaders emerge from? We all can ponder on the answer to that question for the time being… You can read how our political emerge in our political space in Nigeria here     Let me share with you how... There are certain things I want Nigerians to wake up at, at this moment, we are allowing mediocre and do not hold our Leaders accountable. Unfortunately for us,  I can't imagine how can any of us, Nigerians, would defend Government of the day. Though with the exception of  those set of people who are ...

Religion Hypocrisy

Image
Let me quickly share a story with you... There was a Religious man that used to preach the Gospel to people in different locations of the earth, I mean different countries, States, both Rural and Urban areas. One day he went to a location lodge in a Hotel waiting for the time to start preaching... When it's about time to preach, he got out of the hotel and met a boy, a teenager. While exchanging pleasantries and normal introduction, the man let the boy know that he's a preacher, that his responsibilities included winning the souls and letting people know their way to heaven.  The boy really appreciates him and was delightful.  The preacher then asks the boy can you please tell or describe the way to (the address of his location where to preach) the boy's response made the Preacher think twice about how we view life and our purpose... The boy said, "How can someone that knows ways to heaven can't know a way to the location where he's about to preach in this sm...

NIGERIA OIL AND GAS BUSINESS: A TYPICAL AND CLASSICAL FAILURE 2

….from part 1, this is the concluding part...   “The purpose of Propaganda is to make one set of people forget that other sets of people  are human” -Aldous Huxley Let us come back home now, how much is Nigeria daily Oil production per day? According to Google, Nigeria daily production is 2.19 million bpd. But Dr. Atul, during our discussion put it like “Nigeria has capacity of 2.5 million barrel/day but their current production is lower at approximately 1,459 million bpd.  Quoting my mentor, he said,  ” See how much Nigeria is losing in terms of US$ annually and on recurring basis" I know both sources are right. Only that, the latter source is most current. Now this is my understanding… Nigeria has oil, proven Oil deposit of about 37.50 billion barrels, with very low daily production. The reality on ground is that Nigeria has what USA has and that same resources, is given USA close to half a Trillion US$ annually. So what’s the problem with us, why are we s...

NIGERIA OIL AND GAS BUSINESS: A TYPICAL AND CLASSICAL FAILURE1

Image
I think we as Nigerians have waited long enough to express our understanding to some of Nigeria Government’s policies, actions and inactions in the most recent time. It has come to our awareness, into how and at a deepest level, these policies are affecting us Nigerians massively negative. To some extent instead of our successive government to own up, sit tight and think of way out of the mess, we can see that they are digressing more out of our fore father’s vision for this Great nation and coming up with Lies, Deceits and many more illogical defenses as if Nigerians are Mumus (slang known in Nigeria to be STUPID).  Maybe we may not understand what fore father’s mission might entails? Part of it is Nigeria’s Unity with which in the present situation of the country, there’s lot of division among us. It is also in the mission of our Fore Father’s to build strong Economy for the Giant of Africa, strengthening our Naira and making Nigeria the Economic Hub of Africa but unfortunately, ...

Mushin Unsung Hero: Tribute to Hon. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Gbamigboye - 2

Image
Let me move away from Road Projects, looking at the construction of Mushin Market, though, I am not in privy of the modalities behind the Market reconstructions, what I am interested is the occupiers, the regular occupiers at the cheapest rate as possible. In some clime, whenever a market is reconstructed, the newly constructed shops, stall or Iso (funny abi, that o is pronounced “or” as in “short”) are always given to the highest bidders. I am extremely happy, when I saw those Iya Olobi (Our Mums, selling Cola nut), Iya Aladie (Selling   live,   Both Local and Agric Birds), Baba Eleran ( Our fathers and Brothers that are Butchers), Onirago (those selling   live Goats etc), Iya Alaso (those selling Cloths), Iya Alata ( Those selling Tomato and recipes), Iya Oniresi and Ewa(those selling uncooked Rice and Bean, even cooked ones), Those selling vegetable and Iya elewe omo (those selling herbs and healing material) etc relocated to the newly built gated Mushin Marke...
